Service Description
This class is being offered as a Free Workshop class hosted at Ajna Yoga in Victoria B.C. We will practice a promo class of the upcoming pre-registered 8 week series. Taken on it's own, expect a restorative yoga practice with a few mobility release practices targeted for Athletic performance. Yoga Recovery for Athletes and Injury Prevention is an eight-session yoga therapy series designed to elevate your recovery days and target injury prevention. This restorative and gentle class incorporates targeted mobility exercises, fascia release, and restorative yoga practices. This is a beginner friendly program to all levels and abilities. Although designed with athletes in mind there is no need “be an athlete”. This is a wonderful compliment to an existing training program, or starting point to support your body as you increase activity. Weekly focus areas in the series covered such as Runners Knee, Plantar Fascitis, Back Pain, Concussion/Vertigo, Breathing Practices and Hip Mobility.
